Oh. My. Gosh. Guys! This place is exceptional! I’m absolutely in love with the Heritage home and location. The decor is gorgeous and the coffee is fantastic. I prefer a bit more acidic coffee which is my only reason for the 4/5, but honestly I would be a regular here if we lived in Edmonton haha. Thanks for being amazing!

Absolutely love this coffee shop! I work nearby and stop in regularly — hands down the best coffee in the city. The owner is always kind, helpful, and greets you with a warm smile, which makes the whole experience even better. The pastries are delicious, and the atmosphere is just perfect — cozy, welcoming, and full of good vibes. The service is excellent every single time. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

I just popped in for a little mid-afternoon boost, and I’m so glad I did! The server was incredibly friendly and made the best vanilla latte I've ever had. I also loved seeing the local artist merch for sale—such a great touch! I’ll definitely be back for more!

Stopgap coffee is an excellent coffee shop in the historic John T. Ross residence. While it is a little on the small side, the service and quality of coffee are unmatched. I will always be happy to return.

What makes Stopgap special is the atmosphere, as soon as you walk in you get to experience the uniqueness of this cafe. Its literally "the cafe in the house" and its so welcoming. I never had such an amazing coffee experience in a long time. Location makes it even better just walking distance from River valley. Definitely recommending to everyone. Thank you Celeb!!

Stopgap Coffee is definitely worth a visit! I had the maple latte, and it was absolutely fantastic — perfectly balanced and full of flavor. The place was busy when I went, but the wait was totally worth it. I also tried the croissant, and it was amazing — fresh, flaky, and packed with flavor. Great atmosphere, friendly owners, and delicious coffee and pastries. I’ll definitely be back!

It’s literally a house that also serves as a coffee shop, which was surprising. The interior is very cute, and the atmosphere is welcoming because it’s small and feels cozy inside. I ordered a chai latte and a croissant. The staff is nice, friendly, and easy to talk to, making the place just adorable.

Today was the first hot day after many cold days. My acquaintances, friends, and family know that I usually prefer my coffee hot. However, with the arrival of the first warm day, I decided to try a cold coffee instead. I chose to go to Stopgap Coffee because it’s close to my place and one of my favorite coffee shops in the city. I love Stopgap Coffee for the quality of their ingredients and the cozy, welcoming decor that makes you feel immediately at home. Today, I stopped by to grab my cold coffee just before they were about to close. When I entered, I asked if I could get a coffee. A gentleman behind the counter asked what I wanted and quickly made my drink. When it was time to pay, he surprised me by saying that my coffee was on the house this time. I swear, this thoughtful gesture made the whole experience wonderful and unique. I love this place! They always do the right things, ensuring that when you leave, you feel appreciated and welcome. Thank you again! I’ll continue to visit and bring my friends so they can enjoy the same beautiful experience that I do.
